Sean Peers pleads guilty to assault on unconscious woman drugged by husband

Sean Peers, 38, pleaded guilty at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court to assault by penetration — meaning sexual assault — on an unconscious woman who had been drugged by her husband. The assault took place on 15 September 2024. Peers had been due to stand trial alongside 11 men. He will be sentenced after their trial opens on 19 October.
