Russian Missile and Drone Attack Kills at Least 11 in Ukraine

At least 11 people were killed and 34 injured in Russian missile and drone strikes across Ukraine overnight on 6-7 October 2026, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy said power plants and grids were hit. Russia said it targeted weapons factories in Kyiv and ports in Odesa. Kyiv wants more air defences and energy help before winter.
