
Tech-optimist scientists less likely to join climate protests
Scientists who expect technology to largely solve climate change are 23% less likely to join protests or sign petitions, according to an LSE survey of over 9,000 scientists in 115 countries. Published in Environmental Research Letters, it found 27% held that techno-optimist view, suggesting views on solutions shape public engagement.
