JioHotstar enters Middle East inside Starzplay, not as standalone app

JioHotstar will enter the Middle East and North Africa as a dedicated section inside Starzplay's app and website, under a partnership announced Oct. 6. It will offer Indian films, series, originals and reality shows, with new originals released the same day as in India. That differs from September, when it launched as separate apps in the U.K., Canada and Singapore.
