Ex-Burberry chief Bailey acquires Burleigh Pottery from administration

Christopher Bailey, the former chief executive of Burberry Group, the British luxury house, joined a small investor group to acquire Burleigh Pottery, the 175-year-old Staffordshire tableware maker, according to WWD. The deal rescued its Stoke-on-Trent site from administration, the Financial Times reported in June 2026. Bailey pledged to protect its craftsmanship, the BBC reported.
