Queen Mary resumes duties at Danish parliament opening after father's memorial

Queen Mary of Denmark joined King Frederik at the Oct. 6 opening of the Folketinget, Denmark's parliament, in Copenhagen. The appearance followed a private trip to Tasmania for a memorial for her father, John Donaldson, a former applied mathematics professor who died in Hobart on April 11 at 84. Mary was born in Tasmania and married Frederik in 2004.
