Supreme Court Ends Legal Challenges to TPS Cancellations

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on June 25 that people whose Temporary Protected Status is revoked cannot sue to block termination. This removes the main legal barrier to ending TPS designations for over 350,000 nationals from Venezuela, Haiti, Honduras, and other countries. The Department of Homeland Security can now accelerate removals without court oversight.
