Supreme Court Allows Government to End Immigration Protections Without Court Challenge

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on June 25 that people given temporary legal status cannot sue to stop that status from ending. This removes the main legal barrier protecting over 350,000 people from countries like Venezuela and Haiti from removal. The government can now end their status faster, without judges reviewing the decision.
