Two killings raise fears ahead of West Bank olive harvest
Two Palestinians were killed days before the West Bank olive harvest, when tensions rise. Mashhour Yassin, 51, was shot Oct. 1 in Yasouf, east of Salfit, as settlers stormed homes, and Bahaa al-Natsheh, 19, was killed Oct. 2 near an outpost, an unsanctioned settlement, outside Kobar. Palestinian officials say soldiers seized ambulance keys for Yassin, delaying care. Accountability is unclear.
