Judge recommends 30-million-consumer class in Amazon ebook antitrust suit

Magistrate Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein recommended on 1 October 2026 certifying a class — buyers allowed to sue together — of US Amazon ebook purchasers since January 2017. The Report and Recommendation, advice to the district judge, would cover more than 30 million consumers, according to Hagens Berman, the firm pursuing the case.
