Chiikawa movie led South Korea on box-office revenue with $3.2 million

Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island earned $3.2 million in South Korea over Oct. 2-4, per KOBIS data reported by Variety, leading the weekend on revenue. It sold 405,978 admissions, tickets sold, across 1,055 screens for 25.31% of receipts, Variety reported, placing second on admissions behind The Assassin(s).
