Sarah Jessica Parker said she never wears her Sex and the City wardrobe in real life, telling People the clothes remain a preserved archive. Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw on HBO from 1998 to 2004 and reprised the role until 2025, said there is a huge separation between herself and the character, Variety reported.
