Lee Child used veto to block third Tom Cruise Reacher film

Lee Child said he used a veto clause in his film contract to block a third Tom Cruise Jack Reacher film after two pictures, according to Deadline. The deal was signed in 2005 and ran through films in 2012 and 2016, Child said. He called streaming television's 8- to 12-hour running time a "fabulous luxury" over a 90-minute film.
