
Rain exposes software bug, delays Bahrain Grand Prix start
A tropical downpour delayed the Bahrain Grand Prix start for the best part of an hour. On safety-car formation laps, many cars struggled to move. The fault lay in software governing electrical power use in the wet, triggered by low revs, low grip and the circuit layout. Verstappen said teams used the delay to load a fix.
