Macklemore removed from Ed Sheeran tour after 'Free Palestine' performances

Macklemore was removed as opener from the U.S. leg of Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour after performing “Hind's Hall” and calling for “Free Palestine” at Sept. 4 and 5 MetLife Stadium shows in New Jersey, Billboard reported. Sheeran said the promoter acted after venues indicated they would not allow the shows to proceed with Macklemore on the lineup.
