
Willis says Labour's spending plan leaves $18.8b gap
National finance spokesperson Nicola Willis has called Labour's fiscal plan — its plan for tax and spending — "fraudulent". She said its promises leave an $18.8 billion hidden bill, or $2,263 per household. Labour said the plan is responsible and fully funds its promises ahead of the November 2026 election.
