Gilroy calls Paramount-Warner Bros. merger 'tragic' at 'Behemoth!' premiere

Tony Gilroy called the planned Paramount-Warner Bros. merger 'tragic' at the world premiere of 'Behemoth!' at Alice Tully Hall, Variety reported. He told Variety destroying the architecture behind the movie business in the name of venture capital is tragic. Skydance has tentatively set Oct. 6 to close the merger, Variety reported.
