J.A. Bayona frontrunner to direct Jurassic World Rebirth sequel

J.A. Bayona is the frontrunner to direct Universal's follow-up to Jurassic World Rebirth, but is not yet in formal talks, the Hollywood Reporter reports. Gareth Edwards left over creative differences after directing 2025's Rebirth, which earned US$869 million worldwide, the trade reports. David Koepp scripts, with Johansson, Ali and Bailey expected to return, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
