Epic Pauses Development for Six Weeks Over Patient Data Risk

Epic has paused most product development for about six weeks to address cyberattack risks, CEO Judy Faulkner said. Flaws discovered while deploying Mythos, Anthropic's cybersecurity system for detecting threats, could allow access to patient data in Epic systems, including MyChart, the portal patients use to view medical records.
