Van Gogh's Blossoming Chestnut Trees offered at about US$207 million with fees

Sotheby's in New York is to auction Vincent van Gogh's Blossoming Chestnut Trees on 18 November with an expected US$180 million hammer price, the bid before fees, about US$207 million with buyer's premium, the buyer surcharge, The Art Newspaper reported. That would clear the US$117 million with fees paid for Orchard with Cypresses at Christie's in New York in 2022.
