Kent extend Sam Northeast contract to 2028 after 890-run season

Kent have triggered a contract extension to keep Sam Northeast until the end of the 2028 season. The 36-year-old scored 890 runs as the club's leading run-scorer in the 2026 campaign. Kent won promotion back to Division One of the County Championship after Northeast rejoined the club at the start of the season.
