Contemporary Istanbul founder plans second fair on Asian side

The Art Newspaper reported on 1 October 2026 that Ali Güreli, founder and board chairman of Contemporary Istanbul, plans to launch a second fair on Istanbul's Asian side. The 21st edition closed at Tersane Istanbul, a 500-year-old Ottoman-era shipping yard on the Golden Horn, in its third consecutive year there, the paper said.
