Indonesian director Ariani Darmawan ends a 15-year absence with debut feature Jani Be Good (Desember Jani), Variety reported on Oct. 1. Produced by Palari Films, the four-day December story of four women across three generations will world premiere in Asian Future at the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival ahead of a planned Dec. 10 Indonesian cinema opening, Variety reported.
