Affleck used AI on Animals but doubts prompt-made films

Ben Affleck said he used AI “for lots of things” on his Netflix thriller Animals, speaking Wednesday at Bloomberg’s 2026 Screentime event, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He said he does not believe AI will ever allow a filmmaker to type in a prompt and make a movie that people want to see, the trade publication reported.
