Sophie Luff wins PCA women's player of the year

Somerset's Sophie Luff has won the PCA women's player of the year award. She passed 1,000 runs across formats and averaged over 40 in the One-Day Cup, the 50-over competition, BBC Sport reported. She beat Maia Bouchier, Sophia Dunkley and Mady Villiers, the first uncapped winner since 2021.
