More than 270 Catholic priests and church officials sexually abused nearly 1,000 children in Fall River, Springfield and Worcester dioceses — regional church districts — over decades, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell reported Sept. 30, 2026, mostly before 2002.
