Christopher Abbott cast as Professor X in Marvel's X-Men reboot

Christopher Abbott will play Professor X in Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot, Variety reported. He told New York Magazine his D23 unveiling was "a bit of a dream and a nightmare," Variety reported, saying applause felt muted so he swapped a fist pump for a nod. The untitled film is scheduled for release in May 2028, Variety reported.
