Variety sets six-director animation panel for SCAD Savannah festival

Variety said it will stage its fifth "Pixels and Pencils" panel at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, running Oct. 24-31. The lineup brings Brad Bird for Netflix's "Ray Gunn", Daniel Chong for Pixar's "Hoppers", Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado for DreamWorks Animation's "Forgotten Island", Travis Knight for Laika's "Wildwood" and Leah Nelson for Independent Film Company's "Tangles", Variety said.
