Channel 4 to name Ian Katz successor in coming weeks

Channel 4 chief executive Priya Dogra said news on the successor to outgoing chief content officer Ian Katz, meaning the executive who decides commissions, will hopefully come "in the coming weeks". She spoke at the Royal Television Society conference in London, as reported by Variety. She is "looking for the next Messiah", she said.
