Every Tested Car Sent Data to Outside Servers

All 21 recent cars tested sent data over Wi-Fi to at least one outside internet server, researchers at Northeastern University and Consumer Reports found. The study covered 19 U.S. brands. More than half of the cars connected to servers used for advertising, tracking or data analysis.
