Leicestershire win back eight points but 19-point penalty stands

Leicestershire have had eight points of a 27-point County Championship deduction waived, leaving a 19-point penalty. The Cricket Discipline Panel dropped the immediate deduction, ruling loss of 19 points from August's win over Glamorgan for breaching pitch regulations was punishment enough. The suspended eight-point penalty and £5,000 fine remain. Division One status rests on appeal.
