Price cuts, not film, lifted Resident Evil game sales

Capcom's discounts from 10 September lifted daily PS5 sales of Resident Evil 2 and 4 by about 1.9 times before the Resident Evil film's release on 18 September, according to Alinea analyst Rhys Elliott. He puts Resident Evil 2 at US$7.99 and Resident Evil 4 at US$9.99, and says the cuts did most of the lifting.
