Harry Potter producer David Barron to produce AI Call of the Wild

David Barron, producer of six Harry Potter films, has agreed to produce a generative-AI adaptation of Jack London's 1903 novel The Call of the Wild, Deadline reported on 28 September 2026. Simon Rumley will write and direct, with Barron producing alongside Mark Sandell and Nick Price, Deadline reported.
