Nirvana receives Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at MTV VMAs

Nirvana received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard lifetime achievement award at the MTV Video Music Awards on 27 Sept, Billboard reported. Bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl accepted with touring guitarist Pat Smear. Novoselic thanked those behind the band's MTV run, including late frontman Kurt Cobain.
