Meta Launches Muse, Its Consumer AI Assistant

Meta debuted Muse, its personal AI assistant, at its annual Connect event, overshadowing new models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Unlike rivals focused on coding and business tools, Muse targets consumers. Tester Sean O'Kane said it found unclaimed money but called it a 'party-trick type thing.' In this author's view, trust with sensitive data remains the hurdle given Meta's ads business.
