Musk avatar was human-made CGI, AI used only for lip-sync

Producer Nick Shumaker said Alex Gibney's Musk built its Elon Musk avatar with human-made CGI, using AI only in post-production for lip-synching, according to Deadline. He spoke on the 'How AI Transforms Creativity' panel at the Zurich Summit in September 2026 with Vania Schlogel, Zack London and Nick Holt.
