Anna Kendrick to direct Netflix's Evelyn Hugo film

Anna Kendrick will direct Netflix's adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid's novel "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo," announced in June, Variety reported. Kendrick told Variety at the Zurich Film Festival she is "over the moon and so excited". The script is by Liz Tigelaar with revisions by Francesca Sloane, Variety reported.
