Finland expects streamer investment law within a month

Finland expects to pass its AVMS Directive law, the EU audiovisual rules allowing streamer investment obligations, within a month, Finnish Film Foundation chief Stuba Nikula said, according to Variety. Payments of €3.5 million to €7 million would be collected in 2027 and passed to the industry in 2028, according to Variety.
