Sabrina Carpenter cast as Ginger Rogers in Sony Fred Astaire biopic

Sabrina Carpenter will star as Ginger Rogers opposite Tom Holland as Fred Astaire in Sony's untitled biopic, Deadline reported in an exclusive on 25 September 2026. Paul King will direct from a script by Steven Levenson and King, Deadline reported. Rogers was Astaire's frequent film co-star, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
