Heirs dispute Sotheby's settlement account of 2024 Pissarro sale

Seven heirs of Salomon Flavian dispute Sotheby's in London account of its 2024 sale of Camille Pissarro's 'Darse de pêche et bassin Duquesne'. Sotheby's listing says the work was offered pursuant to a settlement with Flavian heirs. The heirs told a Paris court they were not consulted, The Art Newspaper reported. The court is deliberating on annulment.
