California signs law for annual Dolly Parton Day on 25 September

California Governor Gavin Newsom signed Senate Bill 931 on 20 September, Billboard reported. The law calls on the governor to proclaim 25 September as Dolly Parton Day each year. The bill was co-authored by Senator John Laird and Senator Shannon Grove as a bipartisan measure.
