Bungie to take Marathon beyond extraction mode

Bungie plans to move Marathon beyond its extraction roots in the coming months. Extraction — enter, loot and escape or lose carried gear — will remain. The studio said it aims to preserve that thrill while adding more approachable modes with different intensity and commitment. An October Nightfall refresh is planned, with a December push for PvE Symbiosis.
