Boat Rocker hires Noel Hedges for new global acquisitions role

Boat Rocker Studios has hired Noel Hedges as Senior Vice-President, Global Acquisitions and Content Strategy, Deadline reported. The newly created London role starts in early October. Hedges will report to Jon Rutherford, President, Global Content & Rights, and join the team at MIPCOM, the Cannes sales market. He exited Lionsgate earlier in 2026 after 25-plus years in distribution.
