Obsidian to keep creative identity under Bethesda, Braff tells staff

Bethesda president Jill Braff told Obsidian Entertainment staff the studio will retain its "creative identity" after moving under Bethesda. The move is "primarily a change in reporting structure" and Obsidian's creative principles will be unaffected, Braff said in an email reported 25 September 2026.
