Venice winner Avranas to direct Greek remake of The Others for Alpha TV

Venice Silver Lion winner Alexandros Avranas will direct Alpha TV's Greek adaptation of Globoplay's The Others, Variety reported on 25 September 2026. Variety reported the Primavisione production, now in production, follows two neighbouring couples after a fight between teenage sons. Variety reported the remake stems from a late-2024 format sales agreement between Alpha TV and Globo.
