Microsoft Steps Back From Copilot+ PC Label

Microsoft and PC makers are quietly dropping the Copilot+ PC name, Windows Central and The Verge reported Sept. 24-25. The new 12-inch Surface Pro and 13-inch Surface Laptop meet the technical standard for on-device AI features but will not use the label, Surface executive Brett Ostrom said. Qualcomm expects equivalent machines will probably drop it.
