Pakistan Says It Hit 10 Drone Sites in Afghanistan in Second Raid in Days

Pakistan says it struck 10 sites in Afghanistan on Sept. 24 used to store and launch drones — unmanned aircraft. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid says the strikes hit Kandahar, Paktia and Khost provinces. Islamabad says it acted after drone attacks and a Sept. 18 assault on a Pakistani police facility. It is the second round of raids in days.
