Netflix developing Sesame Street film, renews series through Season 62

Netflix is developing a Sesame Street film with Sesame Workshop and Rideback, Variety reported Sept. 24. The flagship series is renewed through Season 62, the outlet said. Volume 4 of Season 57 streams Nov. 23, with Volumes 5 and 6 due next year, per the same report. Kids and family was 15% of Netflix viewing in first-half 2026, Variety said.
