Bristol Bears lose Staddon and Heward to ACL injuries requiring surgery

Bristol Bears have lost Ethan Staddon and Noah Heward to anterior cruciate ligament injuries, the knee ligament that steadies the joint. Both have had surgery, BBC Sport reported on 24 September. Heward fell five minutes into the Prem Rugby Cup defeat by Exeter. Back-row forward Staddon arrived from Bath with a knee problem, Pat Lam said.
