Bradford give Preston permission to talk to Graham Alexander

Bradford City have reluctantly given Preston North End permission to speak to manager Graham Alexander. Preston sacked Paul Heckingbottom after six defeats in seven league games left them second-bottom of the Championship. Alexander made 372 league appearances for Preston as a player. Bradford are top of League One with five wins from seven.
